Roses are red
Violets are blue
These flowers are purple
And that’s my Subaru!

What? You somekinda high falutin’ Red Coat? Here in ‘Merica it spelled Gray.
Gray vs. Grey
Gray and grey are different spellings of the same word, and both are used throughout the English-speaking world. But gray is more common in American English, while grey is more common in all the other main varieties of English. In the U.K., for instance, grey appears about twenty times for every instance of gray. In the U.S. the ratio is reversed.
Lol

Canadian.
I seriously have no idea about these two though. I know I was taught that one was American and the other was “correct”, but I’d long since forgotten what’s what. I pretty much just split my time between them

Yeah... I’ve said before, for all the shit-talking that goes back and forth, the biggest difference culture-wise is that we feel the need to explain and prove why and how we aren’t American.
Side note, I’ve got a shirt on the subject. “Proudly North American”. Too bad it doesn’t fit anymore.

Well, there might have been one 200 years ago but whatever it is today, besides that we enjoy being just a little not-USA... dunno. On that note, if you ever need your White House burned again, just ask :)

I mean I’d take you up on that, but I think the President is fire retardant from all that spray on.
